[Dec 1st, '00] A long time has passed, many things have changed... I decided to redesign my web site to conform to the current "standards" for XHTML and CSS. A lot of work has to be done, but I think my site will be up and running before the end of this millenium.
[Apr 12th, '00] I was just with the idea to update my site and I saw the line below this... Well, it's been a month since the last update. I am already living in my new place, but there are still many things to be repaired or at least put in order. I went several times in the mountains for which I'll put up a page. And my 2nd year in the university started. Ya, and today was my 23rd birthday!
[Mar 6th, '00] It's been two months since the last update of this site :-( I finished my 1st year of university and I found a new place to live. That's all about me recently.
[Jan 8th, '00] I was just about to forget about Y2K problems when... I discovered one in my own log program!! I assumed that Perl's function gmtime() returns the year as a two number digit (so that year 2000 should be 00), but it turned out that Perl substracts 1900 from the (4 year digit) year! So for years before Y2K it is the same as the last 2 digits (ex. 1977 - 1900 = 77), but for years after Y2K it is a three digit number (ex. 2001 - 1900 = 101). Of course this was not a lethal problem, but was enough to freak me out! See the official explaination also!
